Students receive a well-rounded balance of note-reading, rhythm, music theory, musical styles, artistic expression, and technique. Depending on a student's experience, the emphasis on each of these will vary according to the student's needs. Beginners will need more time on the basics of rhythm and note reading, intermediate and advanced students may have more emphasis in other areas. Playing artistically with the correct technique is an important component at all levels.
